Meet the founder
Christine Ong Cothrun is a third-generation Arizonan with a deep-rooted passion for her state and country. As the owner of America First Real Estate, she brings extensive experience as a real estate investor and agent, assisting clients in the Phoenix, Scottsdale, and Flagstaff areas. Christine’s dedication to excellence was recognized early in her career when she was named among the top 2 percent of agents in Arizona within her first six months.
Prior to Real Estate, she co-owned a small business with her husband. With that, she brings astute business acumen to every single transaction in the Art of Her Deals! Further, her background in journalism from Arizona State University has honed her strong communication and negotiation skills, enabling her to navigate complex transactions effectively. That, combined with her experience in radio advertising for Clear Channel, now I Heart Media, propel her to properly market and advertise in the real estate realm.
Christine is as America First as they come. She served as one of Trump’s Top Volunteer Fundraisers in Arizona in the 2020 Election Cycle. She also was elected by 83 percent of Arizona to volunteer and serve as AZGOP Secretary 2023-2025. Like Trump, she’s given so much for this country and her state and also like President Trump, she is a strong stalwart negotiator in Real Estate too!
Beyond her professional achievements, Christine is committed to advancing causes centered around faith, family, and freedom and good causes her clients care about. Her family’s rich history of immigration and perseverance has instilled in her a profound appreciation for the opportunities America offers. Christine’s dedication to her clients and community reflects her unwavering commitment to making a meaningful impact through real estate. For her, America First means helping Americans chase their American Dream and making that Dream Come True!
It was in radio that Christine sold programming to none other than Real Estate guru Robert Kiyosaki and Rich Dad Companies in what became the precursor to the Rich Dad Radio Show. It was called “What Does It Mean To You,” and the show, which aired on KFYI 550 AM in Phoenix and streamed worldwide; it discussed the personal relevancy of topics of the day and finance too. Christine was America First before there was a term “America First.” While at KFYI working with the Rich Dad Companies, Christine proposed to Richard in 2012 to have Donald Trump on the Sunday morning radio show as there were flurries of Donald Trump running for President back then! It made sense because Robert Kiyosaki and Donald Trump had just released a book the year before - “ Midas Touch: Why Some Entrepreneurs Get Rich-And Why Most Don’t.” It was a hit.
When Christine got involved in real estate in 2020, she decided to work with ONLY The Best. She partnered with Rich Dad, Poor Dad’s Sharon Lechter and HGTVs Tarek El Moussa at eXp Realty to not only sell real estate but build a Real Estate Organization sponsoring agents onto her team. Christine takes the America First pillars and ensures she always puts her clients FIRST. One distinct advantage working with Christine and her team: Christine features all of her listings on ABC 15s Arizona’s Real Estate Essentials for added exposure. Her combination of Patriotism and Real Estate Expertise earned her the accolades from her community of Patriot Agent of the Year and Woman of the Year.
